    Dear olga,
in another similar topic, you asked the person to check these things:
“Check these abilities availability from your hosting:
    1. http/https outgoing connects
    2. 136.243.62.35 availability from your source ip address”

I use http, but intend to shift to https soon.
I can’t access the IP address provided. I got a 403 Forbidden message “You don’t have permission to access / on this server.”
    Hope this mybe of help.
    Yours ever,

Can you explain how we can check the availability of that ip address from our websites?
Because on the raw logs of what I think are the outgoing connections I have these: [see private content]

    Hello,

Still working on your issue. Could you please ask your server providers to update OpenSSL system library to the 1.0 version and write us about the result?

    Thank you

I sent a support ticket to them (OVH) and I am waiting for their answer.
P.S: I got an email saying that “We’d like to let you know that an update to your item XStore – Responsive WooCommerce Theme by 8theme is now available in your Downloads page.
Remember: you need to be logged in to download the update.”
is that a part of the issue?
    Thank you.

No walid, it is not. XStore 3.1 doesn’t fix that, at least it didn’t do it to me.
If you have an hosting plan at OVH, like I have, you should try this:
    https://www.ovh.it/hosting/guides/g1999.web_hosting_configura_la_tua_versione_di_php_dal_tuo_spazio_cliente_ovh
(sorry it’s in italian, but images are explanatory)

and change it from Legacy to Stable.

    Thank you WGZ 🙂
    your solution solved the problem.
To Mods, so here is a solution if anyoen using OVH and gets that error.
But, look into that and see why the error happens.
    Thank you.

I’m running Xstore on a localhost setup (XAMPP) and I’m having issues activating my theme with the purchase code. When I attempt to activate, I get the following error:

“API request call error. Contact your server providers and ask to update OpenSSL system library to the 1.0 version.”

Can you please advise on how to activate while developing in a localhost environment? I’m currently running XAMPP v2.5. Thanks.
