Annoying sound in browser window won’t stay muted.

Hello there,

There is a sound that is constantly on, shown in the top of the browser that has option to mute if being played. Sorry, I do not know what you refer to it as.

Chrome broswer show option to mute sound. I’m the one building the site and it can be annoying. If I am going to encourage people to keep my webpage open that will encourage more shopping opportunities, it is not great that this sound will scare shoppers into moving away from the site due to this sound.

How do you deactivate it. Even after muting, due to testing and opening pages in different tabs or browsers, once the page is refreshed, it starts churping like a cricket again. Since my pc is near where I sleep, I have to silence my pc otherwise, churps.

Please be advised that you can disable the sound notification for the Fake Sale Popup by following these steps:

1. Navigate to XStore > Sales Booster > Fake Sale Popup.
2. Turn the Sound Notification option to ‘Off’.
