Anchor tag Accessibility Issue - by IC - on WordPress WooCommerce support

Good Day,

The accessibility issue that i am having is only with this tool “https://achecker.achecks.ca/checker/index.php” with “webaim wave” there are zero errors. Unfortunately the website needs to pass from both these tools.

The errors are “Anchor contains no text” and come from the logo link in the header, the image tag has title and alt text. I run some tests and if i manually remove the span tag that include img tag or if i put a title attribute in the <a> tag, it passes AA check.

Which is the best way and how can i bypass this (fix).

Hello,

if an image is used within the anchor, add Alt text to the image

Logo link includes image and we display alt text for the image, you can check by yourself https://prnt.sc/1ne0pgv

Besides, what version of XStore theme do you use? Because we made a number of accessibility improvements in the latest version of theme.
