    Hi

I dont know if you familiar with this issue but 50 % of the alt tags i set in the wordpress media settings wont show up in the sourcecode and all seo tools give me bad ratings on the alt tags…

I did a little research and in most cases this issue is Theme related… do you have eny experience with this issue? or any alternative way do add alttags?

    thx a lot

    Hello.

You may use some 3-d party Seo plugin to implement tags. This bug should be fixed in future theme updates.
    Please take our apologies.

    With best regards

Thx for this article but i know the seo friendly image plugin… my website has over 2000 pictures, we put seo optimized alt tags by hand in… so it would be really disappointing to overwrite theme whith some stupid pluign … an the main problem is not wordpress or the alt tags… the main problem is YOUR THEME… its a technical problem… when do you think you can solve this problem in one of your updates?

ok but maybe you can help me with the description. If i use the Picture Tile Layout for a gallery instead of the description the lightbox just shows 1 of 15 or 4 of 20 instead of the picture Description. Is there a solution for that?

    thx

    Hello,

We’re very sorry for a long delay.
Unfortunately the lightbox that we use http://dimsemenov.com/plugins/magnific-popup/ doesn’t have feature to display image name.
You may try to customize it yourself if you have necessary knowledge and refer to their documentation http://dimsemenov.com/plugins/magnific-popup/documentation.html .

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.
