We want to show the stock availability of our products with variations in Woocommerce to the customer before they click on one of the attributes. We have a lot of variations and it is difficult to know which one is in stock or not without clicking. Although the “Do not show stock for out of stock products” option is active, all stocks are shown in the variations. Can you help us solve this problem?

We tried some functions.php codes but none of them made any changes on the single products page. We don’t want to use a plugin.

    Thanks.

    Hello, Pepper Tree,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

    1. Could you please provide a link to the product example being referred to?

    2. Could you please provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access? We will check what can be done to help you.
To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    Best Regards,

    Dear @Pepper Tree,

We hope this message finds you well.

Could you kindly review the following video: https://gyazo.com/24cb1ddb299327b4f5e36b80a3f1c20f ? We would appreciate it if you could confirm whether the functionality now works as per your request. If not, please provide us with additional details regarding the specific result you are aiming to achieve on your website for single products.

Additionally, we recommend testing the functionality using a default theme, such as Storefront, to determine if the issue is related to the WooCommerce code itself, as such behavior may be consistent across themes.

Should you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson

Hi Jack, thanks for your reply.
The problem is not that it does not appear as out of stock when we select the stock. It should be displayed before selecting the product’s variation. In other words, a product that is out of stock should appear in the list with a dim color or with a cross out. This way, customers will see that the product is out of stock before they click on it.
    Thank you.

    Hello @Pepper Tree

Could you please test if the same issue occurs when using a default theme, such as Storefront? (Appearance – Themes). Attach the screenshots or video of your testing results.
If the behavior continues regardless of the theme being used, it suggests that the problem may not be related to the theme itself. In this case, we would recommend you contact support of woocommerce plugin – https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/

    Kind regards, Jack Richardson
