There are several formatting and alignment issues occurring on my Woopress site.
    Desktop viewing:
    1. Page numbers on the products page are faulty and sometimes it skips numbers.
    2. There are alignment issues with the sorting of the products. It should all be in a straight line with the page numbers.
    3. On the front page, under featured products the buttons and pricing is not aligning.

    Iphone Viewing:
    4. I would like to move the scroller above the product categories. Also move the menu icon to the left side of the logo and the cart icon to the right of the logo.
    5. I want to disable viewing of the featured product and shop by brands widget on phone viewing.
    6. Some of the product descriptions (when viewing products /categories) on the iphone view pushes together the description and the price. This needs to be aligned.
    Ipad/Tablet Viewing:
    7. When checking out, the input forms look terrible. They aren’t aligned and are all over the place. This is an issue with Iphone/mobile viewing as well.

    Hello,

You’re using old theme and plugins versions.
Please update the theme to the latest version and Woocommerce as well.
Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/woopress/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .

Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!

(it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

Does the updated version have a search bar in the header like mine? I really do not want to lose it… Also, I am afraid of what other issues I may have if I update.

Is there no way around updating?

    Hello,

Have you made changes in the original theme files?
You need to move all changes to child theme https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes , after that you can update parent theme, don’t forget to create back up before.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

I am not sure if the changes were done in a child theme. I had a developer take care of the major changes. How can I tell?

    Hello,

I see child theme created but currently parent theme is activated, so I guess changes were made in original theme files.
Ask your developer to move modified files to the child theme as update process is very important and you need to update the theme and plugins.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

How do you activate the child theme? He may have made the changes in there and not activated?

Is there no way we can fix any of the issues without updating? Or will all of my issues be corrected with the update?

    Hello,

you can switch to child theme and back in Dashboard > Appearance > Themes.
We still recommend you to make backup of theme folder and update.
For more information about Child Themes please check: https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

    Regards,
    Stan Russell.
