Ajax price updating on product pages - by Matt S

Hi, my issue is with the following page: (see private notes)

On a standard core template the product price is updated as the “designer plugin” changes options, for example colour of t-shirt and quantity. Since installing the Xstore template this no longer happens, the price is not updated via ajax.

Please see notes for designer plugin used.

Please can you advise what can be changed so the price acts in the same way as the default template, ie gets updated via ajax as the product options change?

As this works on the standard template, I assume this is a template issue rather than a plugin issue with the design plugin?

Hello,

1) Do you have problem with the price update on the single product page or on the cart page? If you have problem after add to cart then go to Theme Options > WooCommerce > Single product > Single product layout > AJAX Add To Cart For Simple Products > Off and check again.
2) In case you have problem with the price update on the single product page then maybe plugin author uses some WooCommerce hooks that are missing in our theme. Could you, please, contact plugin author and ask what hooks do they use for the price update?
Reply back to this topic with the plugin author answer and also provide Dashabord and FTP access to your site to check and add the necessary hook if it’s missing.
