Ajax add to cart is not working - by taimoorshafiq

Hi, please guide or resolve the following issue.
Ajax add to cart side bar is not opening, it is showing “Select options” under every product and when I click on “select options”, nothing happened, I want to show “add to cart” instead of “select options” button in under every product. I want the same ajax add to cart side like the demo https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/demos/niche-market02/

Thank you so much for contacting us!

Keep variation swatches option disabled https://prnt.sc/12imcql if you don’t use it for the attributes and use only default select types for all the attributes https://prnt.sc/12imdrt

You can enable ajax sidebar by going to Dashboard > Theme Options > Header Builder > Cart https://prnt.sc/12pt9w4

It is still showing showing “selection options” under the product instead of “add to cart” and when I click on “select options” then the product page opens instead of ajax add to cart side bar. Also when I click on quick view then ajax add to cart sidebar opens but there is also showing “select options” instead of product all variations. >>>https://paste.pics/029093ad2d66a59422a66512fe69f286

Hello,

Sorry for the delay in answering.
Select Options button is displayed on Variable products and means that any of variations is not selected, so you are redirected to the Single product page to be able to select variations and add a product to the cart. On the mentioned demo, products are simple, so can be simply added to the cart. Try to set default values for variable products – http://prntscr.com/12r4kor , then check if products can be added to cart from Home/Shop page.

I have set the default values for variable products but it is still redirecting to the product page instead of adding it to the cart & opening the ajax side bar.https://prnt.sc/12rugzk

You are right, this workaround doesn’t work. Right now, there is no ready solution to change the current functionality. Our developers answered that it is not a bug, and it works in the same way on our demo – https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/demos/niche-market/shop/

I think I need to install any plugin for variation switches, the it will work or not? please respond. in demo site it is working fine,

in demo site it is working fine,

– what exactly working fine on the demo but doesn’t work on your site?

In demo site, we can select the product variation by clicking on quick view of any product that displays on the side bar off canvas cart, like this>>https://gyazo.com/b572dbf481b5d1383a3abbc9aa507c21

but in my site, when I click on quick view then side bar opena but there is showing select options instead of displaying the variations and when I click on select option then page refresh to the product page, like this >>https://gyazo.com/e1fadac48c29ed4c5ed83c426920a438

I want to display the variation like color , size under ever product like this demo>>https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor/

and want to work the same like above mentioned demo site.

Enable variation swatches option (Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop Elements > Variatio swatches). Choose the swatches type for your attributes (products > Attributes > edit attribute and change type from select to label/color/image) and then you’ll get the same view for the product variations as on demo.
