After upgrade to wordpress 4.0 errors with media library

We receive this after latest upgrade to wp 4
Warning: file_exists() [function.file-exists]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/.) is not within the allowed path(s): (/var/www/vhosts/highpassion.ch/httpdocs/:/tmp/) in /var/www/vhosts/highpassion.ch/httpdocs/wp-content/themes/legenda/framework/images.php on line 134

Any help related to this is fine.
