After updating to version 4.0, custon header and footer disappear

After updating to version 4.0, my custom header and footer of the child theme have been lost and the Legenda theme ones appear by default.

I am using a Legenda Child Theme.

I tried to update the theme from both the WordPress panel and FTP, but the same problem happens.

Please, contact your hosting provider ask to scan your WP installation and remove the virus. Contact us after that to proceed with theme update.

I have already proceeded to analyze all folders and files and remove any trace of malware, so they are already clean.

Hello,

We have updated theme. We found that you used the nulled version https://prnt.sc/opl4v2
Your site was hacked probably because of this. Don’t use the nulled themes!

Hello Olga,

Thanks for your help.

I used a nulled theme to see if the loss of the header and footer was due to a problem of the original theme or something else, but in both cases the problem of loss of theme customization happened.

It was a mistake on my part. I will consider it for future theme updates.
