After update to Xstore 5.4.1 items showing up in widgets I did not put there

Hi

I’ve just updated several sites to Xstore v5.4.1. new widgets with content have appeared in the prefooter, footer 1 and footer copyright left areas that I did not put there. It looks like they were previously deactivated widgets from demo content that were not used after the demo install.

It seems to have happened with all the sites I have running XStore.

Please explain? I am having to manually delete these extra widgets.

Hello,

Problem with widgets (messed widgets) appears as a rule if the user switches theme during the update. Did you switch theme before update it?
