After UPDATE, CORE PLUGIN issue - by paskyo

Hello,

I can’t update the core plugin without an issue (impossible to access to wp-admin after…).

I have to stay at the latest theme version before update and deactivate the core plugin…

Hello,

I have updated theme and core plugin and did not face fatal error. Also, I have updated the single-product-content.php file because single product content page was broken with old file in the child theme.

Check site now.

Hi, I can not find a way to create a new ticket, that’s why I use this medium.

It turns out that it is not possible to update the 8theme Core plugin to be updated up to 1.1.2 version.

The procedure I use is correct: I delete the plugin (et-core-plugin), then
I try to install the new “ET CORE 1.1.2” but the process gives ERROR Curl.

If auto update does not work for you try the manual update. You can find the new version of plugin here https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/

But I need the other version for core AND theme), because the new one does not work !
How to get it ?
How to back to the version before the update ?

NEWS:

after reinstalling the old files:
– my site is broken : TOP PANEL does not work anymore, as MENU haas changed of style and many other things…

So now, I can’t back to the old ones and the new ones are not working…

How to do to have what I had before your update ????

We have enabled the top panel. Also removed the secondary menu bg color. Also, changed back the single product page. What other issues do you have with the old version?

All seems to be OK now, thanks!

Just too bad that I can’t update to the latest theme and core without issues…
Hope there will be soon a new 5.0 version without any trouble….

Hello,

We made a lot of changes, removed some similar header structures and added options to change layout using other theme options, optimized theme functions, PHP, JS, CSS code. You are using one of the removed headers that’s why you faced problem. Also, you are using child theme where included a lot of files from the old version. It also causes some issues with the update. So, I would recommend you to create a staging site, update theme there and contact us then to fix issues one by one.
