    Hello,
after the demo import, the site doesn’t look like the demo version at all. I let the import run, but with the option to keep my products. You can see in the pictures. Even the categories aren’t where they should be. The single product page also doesn’t look like the demo version.

Also, a few minutes ago I tried Edit with elementor. I tried some changes. Later when I tried to run again Edit with elementor again I get this error:

    Can’t edit?

    Hello, Nesa,

Could you please provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access? We will check what can be done to help you.
To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process

I tried to rearrange the homepage a bit, but everything is going slowly, and I often get the message that Enable Safe Mode needs to be turned on. Also, categories are not displayed in all departments.

    Hello, Nesa,

Thank you for providing access. We have reinstalled the demo import for you. However, the main issue is that the demo data is being installed on a website that already contains existing content. As a result, some elements, mainly images and categories, are not assigned correctly because they are linked by ID, and those IDs are already used by other images on your site.

    Hi,
Yes, I see, but when I go to the categories, they are still not imported. I have to enter everything manually, categories and subcategories. On the mobile view, the categories are displayed normally.

I have one more question. When the home page is set up with New Arrival Products, Popular Categories, Deals of the day, is there another way to insert it later, or does it always have to be through elementor?

    Hello, Nesa,

Regarding the sections New Arrival Products, Popular Categories, and Deals of the Day, since the Elementor builder is used, these sections can be modified or updated only through Elementor.

To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. Been having issues making changes once I import a website, but it’s not working. to think I want to use this for a client’s work is discouraging. I’ve tried different demos still it’s from one issue to the other. currently this is the demo I want to use https://xstore.8theme.com/elementor2/home-decor02/ I’ve had to delete the theme and re-install again. but still it’s not working. If there’s a refund I’ll gladly take the offer

    Hello, Nesa,

We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed. Please note that when you install demo content on a website that already contains existing content, the result may differ from the demo version, as part of the content is taken from your current site. We recommend installing the demo version on a clean website.

Additionally, we suggest disabling third-party plugins while editing pages.

    Best regards,
    8Theme Team
