After applying coupon in checkout – not showing in the summary

    Hey there,

    there seems to be a problem in the coupon form ajax on checkout page with your theme.

    when applying a coupon on checkout the the coupon doesnot appear in the totals / summary

    right away afer applying and sometimes you get 403 error in the console.

    most of the time, if you are refreshing you will see the coupon or if you will try to apply the coupon again you will see that the coupon is in the cart.

    i have try to debug it in many ways:

    1) try it on generic theme – twentytwelve – and the coupon work fine. you see right away in summary the coupon name and amout of discount

    2) turn to the server to see if there is a problem or for some reason the server is blocking the request and there is no problem or blocking. they even try it on apache server.

    that is why i guess it is a theme issue.

    hI Rose,

    please read carefully a look carefully, to save precious time.

    you present me how the coupon ajax works on cart page but i was complaining about the the coupon form on checkout page.

    Hello,

    Oh I see, thank you for explaining.
    403 error is related to server configuration. Please contact your hosting provider support and ask them to increase PHP settings https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/woopress/#!/general_information (1.1 Before you start).
    Also, try to disable 3-rd party plugins and then check coupon.

    i am sorry Rose, it’s look like you are saving time from giving proper support.

    can i talk with an expert or a manager? i have no time to talk with someone who doesn’t pay attentions to what i am writing.

    i already mention in my first message that:

    I’ve checked the issue with parent theme and it works fine, so you need to check your changes in the child theme.

    one thing i didn’t check is without the childtheme
    the problem was with my script in the child theme.
