Advanced serarch - by ap1011 - on WordPress WooCommerce support

    hi, we are looking to add a more advanced search to our shop, and still use your theme and search bar.

    Currently customers can NOT search with a sku, and we want them to be able to.

    So far it looks like the top two choices in terms of wordpres plugins, to allow for this are:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/search-by-algolia-instant-relevant-results/ and searchwp.com

    our prefernce would be algolia.

    I know this outside of the scope of your theme support, but was hoping you could comment on the goal (being able to search by sku) and any potential you might support third party search functionality in the future.

    Hello,

    Yes, additional customization is out of the scope of our support. We use default WooCommerce Search by products and it does not include search by SKU, unfortunately. Some of our users have tried to implement this feature

    You can also use third-party plugins and will be able to replace our search by your new search.
