Adjusting slider - by mixalg - on WordPress WooCommerce support

Hi all,

We are using the Engineer demo (https://www.8theme.com/demo/xstore/engineer/) as our base.

Question about the slider used in this template – it looks like it uses actual products from the store, it queries for them and displays them.

Questions:

1. Is it possible to keep exactly the same design, but not not to tie carousel to specific products – instead displaying independent images of my choice? (just an image carousel basically with the same design)

2. If it is not doable – is it possible to make the slider display only products from specific category and not to make them clickable?

Hello,

1) For this slider was used WooCommerce Slider as Source http://prntscr.com/el5j3o
If you want to have the carousel slider but display different content then choose Default Slider http://prntscr.com/el5kk8 and then go to edit slides and create the individual slide for the every image you want to show.

2) You can choose the categories in WC slider settings. Check the screenshot above.

Thanks, I can’t figure out though where the orange border in the slider comes from – the one in which every item is displayed.
