Adding custom field to product details - by Oceansideseafood

I want to add a custom field to my product details. The most important one is “weight”.

I am going to be selling my seafood online and I want to be able to add the weight in a custom tab, this could be based off the shipping weight or a field that I enter manually, it really isnt important.

I made a mock up screenshot of what I want it to look like.

I’m surprised there isn’t a plugin available for this… The first attempt corrupted my Functions.php file and disabled my website.

Hello,

Have you recovered functions.php file? If no, please provide us with FTP and wp-admin panel cerdentials in Private Content. Concerning the custom fields for a single product you need contact Woocommerce support. They should give you some advice.

I logged into the FTP and deleted the changes I made. Its back up.

I’ll contact them.
