I need to add a new user to a client site. I want the user to manage the Woocommerce orders and mark them as complete when the order is complete, I also need them to have access to product pages and edit those. They should be able to mess around with a few Woocommerce features, but not to view anything about the theme. The client is unaware of the theme.
I first tried to add them as a Shop Manager. When the new client account is logged in, it sees the Xstore menu option in the admin. When I click on the Xstore dashboard this error appears:-
“Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”
It is good that they don’t have permissions as Shop Manager to view Xstore dashboard, by why do they see the menu at all? This is a bug? This doesn’t happen with other themes. Only the admin gets to see the theme name anywhere in my experience with other themes.
How can I get rid of the xstore menu in the admin area from all users except me, the admin?
Even the author seems to see the Xstore menu at the top. This needs to disappear urgently, please?
