Added https, now problems/issues with loading page

Hi,

we have added https to the whole website, now we have issues sometimes the page doesn’t load as it doesn’t exist, sometimes the page loads as text only, and sometimes the page loads with text and images in a long scroll down page.

A programmer I know says he gets some warning about security but can’t locate exactly where it is.

Anything you are aware of, if so can it be fixed? or do I have to change theme?

Hope this is something that can be fixed.

Appreciate all the great support you’ve always given me.

Hello Mobilplaneten,

please temporary switch to default WordPress theme and check – will these problems appear when default WP theme is active? After that please let us know results.

thanks. We have tried this and other purchase themes, and works well without problem, only problem with the Legenda theme :/

Hi Eva,
the problem seems to have been solved by adding premium DNS to server, hope that was it 🙂

Now I’m trying to resolve some loading speed issues:

according to gtmetrix.com the shop page uses html or css to resize images.

I’ve tried to put the shop images to a fixed size without hard crop (also tried hard crop without success), and then regenerated images. But still the shop page uses html or css to resize images instead of using the regenerated images.

I have also tried following code as found in forum (used height 208 as it’s the size the shop resizes most images to):
.product-content-image img {
height: 208px;
}

But also no success.

How can I make the theme use the regenerated images?

Solved the image issue by changing the size in Theme Product Page Layout and disabling ‘Image Cropping’ 🙂
