Addding wrapper to existing content so it can be boxed and video background

Hello! I recently purchased your template and love it!

My question is..

As per the image

I would like to add a container/wrapper to the existing content so I can put a maximum width (let’s say… 900px) so I can add a background video from youtube as my main background outside the wrapper (where the red strikes are on the image).

I’m sure it can’t be that hard?

Hello,

Thanks for the topic.
Theme Options > General > Site Layout > Boxed + Color Scheme > Site Background.
Or you may add Section element on page and move some rows inside of it. Then set background video for the section and stretch it to full with + set background white for rows, result will be like – https://prnt.sc/iadeio

Hi Rose,

I was able to find the box option as you mentioned but I still can’t figure out where to add my youtube video as my main BG.

When I add section element and add rows in it, it’s all inside my container (main content) which I don’t want.

You may provide temporary wp-admin access in private Content and I will create an example for you.
Background video you need to add in Section settings http://prntscr.com/iars6a
Please provide screenshot of container, in html code of page, that you do not want.

Hi Rose,

Ok so, I would like to add a youtube video as my main background outside the main wrapper/container.

In the general home settings, it only gives me the option to allow image backgrounds (see pic 2.)
But the goal is to put a video outside the main content/wrapper (see pic 1.)
Let me know how you did so I may change/add/remove for future use.

I have provided you with a temporary user & pw.

Additionally, if there’s an update for WordPress, should we go ahead and update it or always wait for the theme to be updated?
