Add video to the image gallery of individual products

Good afternoon! I’d like to add video clips to the products. I could use some as featured images and others to add to the gallery. Is this possible? Thanks!

Good morning! Thanks for the note, it was actually quite simple hahaha! I uploaded the test video to https://toyah.es/product/toyah-catch-the-wave/

Now I have some questions:
1. Is it possible to see a frame of the video in the thumbnail instead of the icon?
2. Can I choose to feature the video for certain products?
3. Can the video play in a loop?

In this case, you may either disable the Archive Products Builder or customize the product image thumbnails using PHP, as suggested in the following forum reply: https://www.8theme.com/topic/add-tabby-and-tamara-item-icons-to-all-product-cards/#post-452408.
3. We also recommend implementing the solution provided in this reply: https://www.8theme.com/topic/featured-product-video-breaks-singe-product-gallery/#post-358598. Unfortunately, due to the current level of access granted to your dashboard, we are unable to add the necessary code on your behalf.

Hello! Thanks for the detailed response.

I’ll comment below, but I wanted to add that I’ll copy your username and password to access the website in the private area.

1. I’ve enabled the option (screenshot attached), but as you can see, the icon is still displayed, not the thumbnail.

2. From what I’ve seen, if I enable the option, the video would be used instead of the featured image whenever there is one. What I wanted to know is if there was an option to set it as a featured image only for the products I choose. If not, no problem. Thanks for the tip.

3. OK! Done! I’ve applied the code for the loop using Code Snippets and it works perfectly.

If I want to use that video as a featured video, would that be possible? I’ve looked for the option in the product editor, but I don’t see it.

It would be an exceptional use, for example, for a new product that I’d like to highlight.
