    Hello, @Telmo Baldaia,

Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.

The default functionality for tracking orders is provided by WooCommerce. Also, you are using a third-party plugin Aftership plugin on your site.

If you wish to customize this feature, we recommend that you seek assistance from the Aftership plugin support team.

We hope this information is helpful.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team.

Thank you again for your response. But where can I configure it on the backend? Is it possible to send an email with the tracking number and a link to that page? Does it as the functionality to work with carriers?

    Hello, @Telmo Baldaia,

    Thank you for your response.

1/ In WooCommerce, the “Track Order” functionality allows customers to monitor the status and location of their orders from the moment they are placed until they are delivered.

    1) Order Placement: When a customer places an order on your WooCommerce website, the order details are stored in the database. Each order is assigned a unique order ID.

    2) Order Status Updates: WooCommerce provides several default order statuses such as “Pending,” “Processing,” “Completed,” “On-Hold,” “Cancelled,” and “Refunded.” As the order progresses through various stages, the status is updated accordingly. For example, the status changes from “Pending” to “Processing” when the order is being prepared for shipping.

    3) Customer Account Access: To enable customers to track their orders, you can create a “My Account” page where they can log in and view their order history. Within their account, customers should be able to see the current status of their orders, along with relevant details such as the order date, shipping information, and tracking numbers.

    B) Order Tracking Form: Track your order page lets a user see the status of an order by entering their order details. This page is built using [woocommerce_order_tracking] shortcode; https://ibb.co/gJrGR44 -which is available with WooCommerce. please read these articles for more details:

    C) The functionality for tracking orders is provided by WooCommerce. If you wish to customize this feature, we recommend that you seek assistance from the WooCommerce plugin support team. You can reach them through the following link: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/

2/ & 3/ In WooCommerce, the “Track Order” functionality is not a built-in features, but it can be achieved through various methods, including third party-plugins and custom development. The exact capabilities depend on the solution you choose.

We hope this information is helpful.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team.
