Hello and congratulations on the great theme!

I am trying to replicate the Sidebar Theme Option

However when a product is added to the cart from the homepage the whole website reloads with a string like this after the address:
?add-to-cart=4150

Your help is much appreciated!

Sure!

I have also been facing problems to make a mega menu like “Demos” and “Home” in your sample website.
I read all the documentation carefully, but still didn’t work.
The category images overlap each other.

While you inspect from the inside please can you also check why this is not working?
I could of course open another ticket for it in case it’s necessary.

Hello,

As I see you’re using Ess. Grid element on home page and it doesn’t have ajax “add to cart” feature as on Shop page. You may change “Add to Cart” button to “View product” in ess. grid settings so clients will be redirected to single product page to buy a product.

I’ve added class “with-tooltip” for your submenu items http://storage6.static.itmages.com/i/16/0122/h_1453467810_4406336_a700aaca71.png and changed class “menu-column2” to “menu-column3” in the parent menu.
Please check menu now.

Hello Jack,

Thank you for the menu issue – it’s fixed now.

However all I want from the Homepage is it to work as in the example of the theme named “sidebar” https://www.8theme.com/demo/woopress/sidebar/

I don’t want to redirect the user no product page nor to refresh the page.
The ease of adding products to the cart from homepage is what made me purchase Woopress.

Please let me know how can I make it act like in the theme example?

Hello,

The problem is caused by new Woocommerce plugin version.
I’ve reuploaded old Woocommerce version and now “Add to Cart” button is working properly. Clear browser cache and check.
As we haven’t released theme update yet we recommend to use old Woocommerce version.
Please wait for theme update and then you’ll be able to update Woocommerce.
