    Hi guys from 8Theme,

I have to use WooCommerce Product Options for my products and this plugin is not compatible with the Theme Ajax behavior. When I turn the ajax cart off everything works great besides the add to cart notification.

You can see the notification for a second and than the page refreshes directly. This is not a nice UX and I want to ask, is there any option on displaying the message on refresh page again or open the off canvase menu directly?

Thanks for your help and kind regards

Thank you for reaching out to us.

However, we highly encourage you to share your suggestion on our Taskboard at https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/. If your idea garners sufficient support from other customers, our development team will carefully evaluate the possibility of including it in a future update.

    Hi, thanks for your answer.

I am totally aware that the Ajax add to cart will not work with the custom fields, thats why I turned this function off.

My point is, that when a user clicks “Add to Cart” you will see the notification bar “Product XYZ is added to your cart” for only some milliseconds and than the page refreshes.

Would it be possible to show the notification bar again on the reloaded page so the users get see action again?

    Or alternative

Would it be possible to redirect on the cart page it self?

    Hi @Toesi,

Would it be possible to redirect on the cart page it self?

Please go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Add to cart behaviour > check on the Redirect to the cart page after successful addition setting.

    Hi thanks,

that works but the cart remains emtpy but the count number on the icon increases.

Is there a problem with the cart widget that is broken?

    Hi @Toesi,

The emtpy cart issue is not related to the Redirect to the cart page after successful addition setting.

To address this issue, we kindly recommend testing for potential conflicts with third-party plugins. As part of this process, we suggest temporarily disabling any non-essential third-party plugins that are not included in the XStore theme package. For your convenience, you can find the list of plugins included with the XStore theme at the following link: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/.

Once you have deactivated the unnecessary plugins, we kindly request that you clear your browser’s cache and verify whether the issue has been resolved. This step is crucial, as conflicts with third-party plugins can sometimes result in unexpected behavior.

    Hi @Luca Rossi,

I deactived now all unnecessary third-party plugins, cleared my browser cache and tested it with other browsers and devices and the issue remains the same.

When I add a new product to the cart, the product is not added into the cart. When I make some chances on the cart page and save it with elementor again, it the product is shown in the cart.

But when I try to revome it, it doesnt work.

Can u tell me what was causing the issue, if I face this issue again?

Is it normal that the woocommerce messages are now not rendering immediatly and only late and stacked when the cart’s get empty?

    Dear @Toesi,

We hope this message finds you well.

Could you kindly review the issue once more? We have recently replaced the [woocommerce_cart] shortcode with the cart element, as shown in the following screenshot: https://prnt.sc/G60y4b4fCmjL.
