Hi,
At the moment the add to cart button is always visible when we are in the single product page.
Before it was necessary to make the selection of variations (size/colour) and then the button would show.
Other option would be that when the user clicks add to cart, it shows a warning that the variations must be selected.
Can you please let me know how to make one of this 2 options available?
I have my site live and I feel that the conversion rate dropped due to this fact.
Kind regards,
Jose

As requested
Hello,
I’ve re-activated the theme and now warning is shown when hovering “Add to Cart” button.
Clear browser cache and check.
Thank you.

Hi,
At the moment I’m on my smartphone. I’ve cleared cache and I’ve purged cache of my CDN.
Still I don’t notice any difference.
Can you please check the behaviour?
Tks
José
Hello,
Please check the site on desktop view. When you hover Add to Cart button the warning will be shown:

Hello,
OK. I’ve seen your screenshot.
At the moment we have a lot of traffic coming from mobile. Even though I (personally) believe that is kind of obvious that you have to select size and colour, for many users might not be so obvious. There is nothing that can be done for mobile users?
Few days ago, when I was checking this issue (on desktop), I’ve a got a red message (I don’t know why I got it only once) on top of simple product page, saying that I had to make my choice. But then again, I couldn’t manage to get to that message again.
It looked more obvious, a red message, warning that you are obliged to select your size/colour, when you click add to cart without those options selected.
What can be done?
Thank you
José
Hello,
That feature was modified in the recent Woocommerce update. It’s not the theme configuration.
If you activate other theme you’ll see the same warning when hovering the button.
If you want to get old functionality you have to contact Woocommerce support.

Eva Kemp.
