Hi, I want to know if it’s possible to add additional content to the shop page (below products and sidebar, as if it were a footer, with “faq”, “returns”, “shipping”, and that sort of information that I don’t want to show on every page of my website). I was able to do this with the Checkout page, just by editing the page, but that doesn’t seem to do the trick here…
If not, is it possible to have the footer 1 widget shown only on that shop page?
    Thanks!

    Hello,

You can add the Statick blocks with your content to Footer 1 or Footer 2 in Appearance->Widgets.

Also you need to disable ‘Show footer demo blocks’ in Theme Options->General.

Hi Robert, thanks for your quick answer
I meant, how can I do to display footer 1 / 2 ONLY on the shop page (“/shop”), and block that content on all other pages, thanks

    Hi Stan,
what about editing the “/shop” page template? I was able to add content to the “/checkout” page for example, just by adding content when editing the page, but that doesn’t work with the /shop page. Do you have any idea why? Could it be that the Woocommerce template is overriding the page? Would changing the template work?
    Thank you very much

    Hello,

Shop page uses Woocommerce template if it’s selected in Woocommerce > Settings > Products tab > Display > Products Page. If you want to add other content you can create a new Shop page and add products using Products element in Visual Composer editor, then you can add other elements to the page.

Hi Eva, thank you for your answer.
I have just one more question, using your suggestion wouldn’t allow me to use the navigation filters on the sidebar right? Is there a way to apply the filters to the products shown there? Otherwise it would load the original template again, thanks

    Hello,

Unfortunately there is no such possibility. Sorry.
