    Hello,
I’m reaching out to ask if it’s possible to modify the behavior of the password reset process on my site.

Currently, when a user clicks “Lost your password?” on the login page (https://theundergroundmarketplace.com/login/), they are redirected to the “My Account” page. To work around this, I’ve implemented a popup that hides the “My Account” page and only shows the password reset form. However, this solution isn’t ideal.

I’d like to know if it’s possible to change this functionality in any of the following ways:

A: Have the password reset form function directly on the login page without redirecting to the “My Account” page.

B: Trigger the existing password reset popup directly from the login page.

C; Redirect users to a separate, dedicated password reset page instead of the “My Account” page.

I’ve attached a video to demonstrate the current behavior. Please let me know if any of these options are possible.

    Thank you,

    Hello, Terpsauce,

Thank you for reaching out to us and for providing detailed information about your request.

We understand that you would like to modify the behavior of the password reset process on your site. Regarding your suggestions:

    A. It is not possible to have the password reset form function directly on the login page without redirection, as this process is handled by the default WooCommerce functionality.
    B. Triggering the existing password reset popup directly from the login page may be achievable with custom development or additional JavaScript customization.
    C. Redirecting users to a separate, dedicated password reset page can be implemented by customizing the WooCommerce templates or using a plugin that allows you to define a custom password reset URL.

Please note that such modifications require custom coding beyond the default theme settings

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team
