    Hello,

I request your help about the abnormal behaviour of the homepage of our site.

Indeed, when you scroll without using the menu toggle, you can go up and down without any problem.

On the other hand, when you use the menu that points to the anchors of the home page sections, the window slides to the anchor but you can’t go up or do anything. The page remains as if locked.

Unlike your demo version, the url path does not indicate the anchor (e.g. http://www.website.com and not http://www.website.com/home/#et-contact).

We have checked in the menu settings that “one page menu” is activated in the mobile and tablet versions. Nothing corrects the thing.

Maybe it comes from the way the links to the anchors in the main menu have been created? We have the screenshots of the main menu settings. Can we share them with you?

    Thank you for your help.
    Best regards,

    JL

    Hello,

Please watch this video – https://youtu.be/EeR0Jn9eUpA and check your settings one more time.
If this doesn’t help, provide temporary wp-admin access, so we can take a closer look.
Lightshot Screenshot tool https://app.prntscr.com/en/index.html makes screenshots and generates links then you can provide links of screenshots here.

    Regards

    Hello Rose,

First of all, I thank you for the quality of your support which is responsive.

I have indeed checked all the parameters and seeing that everything was correct, I restarted the whole thing but nothing helped.

Then, I thought that the home page had a ‘home’ slug. I added it to the base url of the site in the main menu links (https://website.com becomes https://www.website/home/) and finally, it works: when using the menu in mobile version, you land on the anchor and you can scroll again which was not the case before.

I hope this will be useful for other novices.

    Thanks again.
    Kind regards.
    JL.
