Hi,

We have a couple of seperate problems on http://79.170.44.106/chateauclinet.com/

The first is the search button on the top red bar doesn’t work. Nothing happens when you click on it.

The second is that we can’t seem to work out how to set down load links on the http://79.170.44.106/chateauclinet.com/chateau-clinet-pomerol/ page to open in a new tab. At the bottom of each section there is the ability to download a .pdf of specs and they currently open in the same page. We need to open them in a new tab by default. These were bulit using the Call to Action widget as part of the visual composer.

Hello,

Concerning the search button you need update the theme to the latest version as some bugs are fixed there.
Unfortunately there is no such option in the theme and Visual Composer plugin to make a link be opened in a new tab. Sorry.

Hello,

The element where the link is added is related to Visual Composer plugin.
Their files have to be edited.
If you have necessary skills you may modify the files or you can ask at VC forum.

The PDF issue with them not opening in separate link… are you positive the isn’t some custom code you can give me to fix this or some extra css class to put within the shortcode itself? 🙁

Oh, and the final thing, can you tell me how to remove the search icon in the top bar but keeping the blog post icon please?

Hello,

To have PDF file opened in a new tab you can use “Call to Action Button 2” element where this option is present instead of “Call to Action Button” element.
Also I’ve added this code to custom.css file to hide search icon:

.header-type-3 .top-bar .search{ visibility: hidden; }
