    Hi there,

    I’ve only purchased this theme recently and it appears that some changes I make to the 8theme options panel aren’t changing on my website. The ‘main colour’ option for example has been changed but doesn’t show anywhere. I wanted to change the green colour that shows when you add an item to the cart, quick view options and basically anywhere it displays. I saw another reply to a post with custom CSS, but that is not an acceptable solution…whats the point having an option like main colour if I then have to add a load of custom css to make it apply? Why is the 8theme options panel not updating?

    The other issue I have is the site is extremely slow and that was before I added anything apart from the demo content. Is there something else I can do to speed the site up? Do you recommend a particular cache plugin?

    If you could suggest a solution for these issues I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thank you
    Michael

    Hello,

    1) Provide me temporary Dashboard and FTP access to your site to check the saving process.
    Main color change the color of the accent elements like active buttons color, sale price color, links active and hover color, blog categories color etc. So, everything depends on what exactly do you want to change. Can you provide me screenshot of the elements?

    2) Read this topic about site speed and recommended actions https://www.8theme.com/topic/speed-34s/#post-190330
    If you provide me Dashboard access I’ll be able to help you with cache plugin installation and its settings.

    Regards

    Thank you for the reply. I have added some custom CSS to change most things like cart page main colour, cart icon, view more buttons so that issue may now be resolved even though I’m still not sure what effect the options are having in the theme options section.

    In terms of the site speed I have installed W3 cache as you recommended and have included log in details in the private section so that you can adjust the settings as you said. I didn’t want to change any of the settings until you looked at it in case I changed something you don’t recommend.

    Thanks again
    Michael

    Hello,

    1) There is option to change the color of the number items in the cart http://prntscr.com/j4cup1 (Theme Options > Header Settings ).
    2) User that you created for us has limited permissions http://prntscr.com/j4ctzu we can’t check Theme Options or cache plugin settings.

    Hello,

    1) Theme Options works fine. But you use cache and it’s enabled even for admin, so if you change the options you need to clear cache every time you make changes. I would recommend to enable cache once you finish the site.
    2) We have set the main settings that are suitable for your site.

    Thank you for your help on this.

    I have one last question, is there a way to disable the left and right arrows that appear when you hover on a thumbnail image? It lets you scroll through the different images but I’d like to disable that but can’t find where to do it. An example is on this page – http://woof-stuff.com/product/rubber-chew-tooth-cleaning-balls-for-dogs/ and the items under related products.

    Thanks again
    Michael

    Hello,

    To disable these arrows http://prntscr.com/j5u3ek

    .single-product .swiper-control-bottom .swiper-custom-left, .single-product .swiper-control-bottom .swiper-custom-right {
        display: none !important;
    }

    add code in Theme Options > Styling > Custom css.
    To change this hover effect https://gyazo.com/bc7979b2deb7a2629260615860c25c9b
    go to Theme Options > E-commerce > Products Page Layout > Image hover effect.
