I just bought XStore and followed the instalation instructions. However, once i activate the theme it tells me to activate the 8theme core plugin. Once i click on it it tries to activate and always fails no matter what i do. When i check on it in the plugin list it doesn’t show at all, however the setup wizard told me it was installed as well as woocommerce, though it too doesn’t show in the plugin list.

    Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us.
Make sure you have checked all the server requirements before the installation – https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/60-xstore-theme-requirements
Make sure that all required plugins were activated in Appearance > Install plugins.
Provide us with temporary wp-admin and FTP access, so we can take a closer look.

    Regards

I have checked the requirements and those i did not pass i changed in my user.ini file (as im running WordPress on a Windows server). After several tries it finally managed to activate the core plugin somehow once i manually copied it in the files via FTP. After that i managed to get to the demo pages selection window, but it wont let me install/activate any of the required plugins that i need for the theme (i also tried in the install plugin window, same result). Without the theme i managed to install Woocommerce. I then activated the theme again but WP Bakery is still giving me the same error. Could this be an issue with the theme or do i need to contact my host provider?

    Please contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello,

Enable WP debug mode https://wordpress.org/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/ to find out what error appears on your site, it will point you in the right direction what needs to be fixed.
As a rule, our customers do not face such problems, so contact your hosting provider + ask to give you a server error log to check what is wrong.
Here you can find a list of required plugins – https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/37-plugins-update , archives of premium plugins can be downloaded from this page – https://www.8theme.com/downloads/ , so you can try to install them manually.
We cant login to your site / connect FTP, please check credentials you provided.

    Regards
