Hello,
Is it safe to update to version 2.9.2? Also is it compatible with the most current version of WooCommerce 2.4.10? If not is version 2.9 compatible with WooCommerce 2.4.7?
Please advise before we make the update.
Thank you.

Hello,
Yes, you can update the theme and Woocommerce plugin.
Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/legenda/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .
Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!

Hi Eva,

Hi Eva,
I managed to fix the phone issue, it was cached.
BUT now I am noticing that Visual Composer Version 4.8.1 is not working with the Theme 2.9.2.
For example I am not able to add an image from my media library to a section.
Please advise.
Thanks.

Hello,
Please provide us with FTP and wp-admin panel credentials in Private Content.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Please see private content.
Thanks.
Hello,
Please give us FTP credentials as well.
Thank you.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Eva, I am not able to get FTP access until after the Holidays. Our IT guy is out of the country. I need this fixed prior to that. You have access to all the files through the wordpress login.
Please either fix the issue or provide a download link link to the old visual composer that was working with the theme.
Thanks.

Hello,
I wanted to increase memory_limit value in wp-config.php file http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP (it’s not available via WP Dashboard).
If you have access to it try to increase it.
Thank you.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Hi Eva,
I can do that, what should I bump it up to?
Thanks.
Ali
Hello,
Set memory_limit value to 128M.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Jack Richardson.
Hi Eva,
I am in the root folder for all of my websites. Can you give me some more direction on this? I don’t see a HP-Config file, only WP-Config. Also do I have to drop in a line of code or just change a number?
Thanks.
Ali
Hello,
In the previous post I told you to edit the file wp-config.php in the root folder of your site.
If you already have such code define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '96M' ); written in there, then just change the number, if there is no such line, then add the whole code.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Hi Eva,
I added this code into the WP-Config file and still no fix…
define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘128M’ );
Please advise.
Thanks.

Hello,
Please check if the issue persists with default WordPress theme (Twenty Fifteen).
Also provide us with FTP credentials and update Revolution Slider plugin.

I have updated the rev slider but its still not working.
Please advise as we can not make any changes via visual composer to our entire site…
Thanks.
Ali
Hello,

Please do this.
Let us know the result.
Thank you.

Hi Eva,
I do not have the default theme. I also don’t know how to revert to this w/o taking my site down…
I really need your help with this.
Thanks.
Ali
Hello,
I’ve activated Twenty Fifteen theme in Appearance > Themes and checked Visual Composer editor. The same problem with images persists with this theme too.
So it’s not related to our theme, but to the plugin.
I’ve reuploaded files for Visual Composer plugin and now the problem is fixed.
Clear browser cache and check Visual Composer editor.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Hi Eva,
Thank you very much for the fix.
Happy Holidays!
