Royal Theme is blocking WooCommerce translations to German

Hi team,

thanks for a great theme! I haven’t had any troubles with it so far – except with translations.

I have WP-Lang set to German as well as WooCommerce set to German – however (!) some things are still in English. When installing WC I noticed a few Royal files overwriting the WC files so I can only assume it is exactly these files I need to change. Problem is that I do not know which files to edit.

Please give me the locations of the following phrases so I can translate them and my shop is german all around 🙂

I am using the ‘Animals’ Skin…

1.’Cart’ – top right corner of each page
1.1 ‘No products in Cart’ when hover over ‘Cart’ in top right corner
2 ‘Categories’ on left side of shop page… (in WP Admin it is translated!)
3 ‘return to previous page’ on virtually every shop page…below mini cart…
4. Product description, product brand, Email to a friend – on single product page
5. how do I change the entire ‘returns and Delivery’ tab?
6. ‘XXX successfully added to your shopping cart’ as well as ‘Continue Shopping’ & ‘Checkout’ buttons…
7. search in shop area—it all in english!
8. ‘Shop by departments’ on home…

You need translate the theme as described in the documentation:

Hi Eva,

I have purchased the recommended Plugin and followed the instructions as advised by you. Unfortunately, this does not allow me to change any of the previously mentioned phrases…

Please advise how I can make these changes. If this can not be fixed the theme (as great as it is and as much as I love ith otherwise) will be of no use to me.

Hello again,

I have also tried editing with Editpo and spent 45mins changing the default.po in DW – no luck yet.

I am getting quite desperate for these changes as some of my shop is translated but many important features aren’t. I can’t possibly launch like this…

Feel free to have a look at what I mean on the site…

In the documentation it says to best edit languages with ‘WPML’. I purchased it but it does not allow me to edit mentioned phrases.

I will leave all the files as are now (incl. the edits I have made). Feel free to upload relevant files to the server…

FTP and WP-Admin credentials in private section.

Hello @JayVee1982,

Are you creating multilingual site with two languages?
If you want to use only one language you need translate .po file as described in the documentation http://betterwp.net/wordpress-tips/create-pot-file-using-poedit./ .
