    Please try to use this code in custom.css file for the solution:

    .et_section.parallax-section {
    background-attachment: inherit !important;
    }

    Here you can watch the tutorial how to create custom.css.

    Hello,

    As I see you have very old Visual Composer version. Please update it and check if it fixes the issue. To update the plugin you need download the theme archive at http://themeforest.net/item/legenda-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/5888906 where we’ve recently included the updated versions of plugins VC and Revolution Slider. After you unzip the archive you’ll find the plugins in legenda/framework/plugins directory. Upload the new version via FTP and remove the old one.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello,

    I had the same problem with the parallax effect. I use two of them on the opening page. The first was good, but the second was only a grey image in Chrome.
    I used the CSS given above and now both images can be seen in Chrome, too, but now the movement of the background images are much less then before, truly they move so little that hard to see (almost like normal pictures).
    It can be seen on esszencianatur.hu site.
    Could you check it for me please?
    Thank you in advance.

    p.s. I just see that the CSS modified the administrator view as well. E.g. in theme options some the fields cannot be seen for e.e. typography, etc. I see there was update yesterday on the template. How can I update my template?

    Hello @Naomi,

    As I see you still have VC Version 4.1.2, not the latest one.
    Please provide us with FTP credentials and we’ll update it for you.

    Hello @Flexibilis,

    Please provide us with wp-admin panel credentials in Private Content.
    We didn’t update the theme files, just reuploaded the plugins Visual Composer and Revolution Slider with new versions.

    In private I send you the id. and pass to the site.
    The administrator view is solved, only the parallax issue I still have.
    Regarding the update can I update the Visual Composer and the Slider revolution somehow in my template?

    Please, contact administrator

    Hello @Flexibilis,

    I’ve removed the code you inserted in custom.css and parallax effect is working fine in Chrome and Firefox browsers.
    To update the plugins you need re-download the theme archive at http://themeforest.net/item/legenda-responsive-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/5888906
    After you unzip the archive you’ll find the plugins in legenda/framework/plugins directory. Upload the new version via FTP and remove the old one.

    Eva Kemp.

    Hi,

    Thank you. In a newly downloaded Chrome on my wife’s laptop it is ok. In my “old” ones on my laptop and desk computer – still not. Interesting. I will reinstall Chrome, maybe it solves.

    I reinstalled Chrome. First all was good. Then I magnified the view from 100% to bigger and the image disappeared. Going back to 100% the image “came back”. (The first parallax image had no problem, only the second one.)
    In Firefox there is no problem with magnifying.

    Hello @Flexibilis,

    Are you changing the view in Chrome browser settings or in VC?
    Could you please show a screenshot of the image you see?
    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Have you changed permissions for 8theme user in wp-admin panel? We’re unable to view custom.css file.
    Please add this code into custom.css:

    .et_section.parallax-section {
    background-attachment: local !important;
    }

    Let us know if it helps.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hi,

    I switched back your permission to administrator now.
    I put in the code. Then on zooming the image did not disapper, but the images were again almost fixed, so there was a very small “parallax effect” only. Then I removed the code.

    Regards,
    Fedor

    Hello,

    Unfortunately our theme is not designed for zooming and this issue may depend on the image size. Try to upload bigger image in this case.

    Eva Kemp.

    Hi,

    Today I bought the Layered Popups 3.26 plugin from codecanyon – http://codecanyon.net/item/layered-popups-for-wordpress/5978263 – (http://layeredpopups.com/). After install and turn on the parallax images with all content disappeared from the opening page of my site, only two big black fields remained there.
    Then I turned off the plugin and the images came back. I’ll write to codecanyon, too. I need a solution for this because this is a paid plugin.
    I do not know if you can do anything with it, just let you know. I do not think it is a WordPress issue since it is done to WordPress, so it should work.
    Regards,
    Fedor

    Hi,

    Ivan Churakov, the plugin author solved the issue with a speed of thunder. He made a new version of the plugin, it is 3.27 now, so problem solved.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

    How can I make a parallax image on a side when I have sidebar switched on? Till now I could make parallax image if I enabled full width. But unfortunately for better conversion I have to put sidebar to every side, so I cannot enable full width.
    Can I make parallax image in a column only?

    Regards,
    Fedor
