Fixes and updates for latest Legenda theme?

Hello – I purchased the Legenda theme back in July. I would like to update to the latest version 2.9 you have available, but have a few questions before doing so:
– I read in this forum that some other users had issues with the drop down menu not expanding properly on mobile devices, I have same issue, and saw that you provided a css code in order to fix it. Is this automatically fixed in your latest version upgrade?
– For some reason, my “Site Identity” fields (under Appearance/Customize menu) does not show up when I populate the fields. Am I correct that information filled out in those fields provide a description to the website when a search is done online via Google, for example?
– Where do I go to get the latest ver 2.9 theme? The only instructions/tutorial I see in this forum is to update it through the theme directory. Is there a way to update the theme through WP Admin panel (meaning is the process the same as the original installation?

Sorry, I am a beginner WP user and do not have enough experience to be comfortable doing it from the theme directory. Please advise?

Hello,

You need update the theme via FTP as shown in our tutorial

Also before update you need delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/legenda/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.

Please show a screenshot of the issue you have with menu and provide us with wp-admin panel credentials in private content.

Hi Eva,
Ok thanks for confirming the upgrade installation process.

You already provided a solution to fixing the menu problem (you provided a css code). I was just wondering if this issue is automatically “fixed” in the latest Legenda version or would the user still have to add this code to their custom.css files?

The last item was the Site Identity fields issue. I am not able to post images here, I tried but the screen won’t let me paste into this comment box. I included details in the private content section.

Hello,

The menu issue is fixed in the latest Legenda version.
What about site description, the changes won’t appear immediately in search results as search engines should re-index your site, but it may take some time. You can read about it here http://www.htmlbasictutor.ca/search-engine-indexing.htm .
We recommend you to contact some SEO specialist to get more information.
