    Hi,

    I would want to show a blog post on the home page with image and an expert, is there a way to do that?
    Currently it’s showing the title and date and a bullet.

    Also I updated the color of the three post that are showing in the footer but for some reason it’s party showing the Royal gold color and partly the color I updated it to.

    thanks

    Hello,

    You can use Post Grid element in Visual Composer editor. Please try it.

    Yep, works! Takes a longtime to load but thanks!

    Did you have an idea why the blog date icons in the footer have two colors? Also is there a way to get an excerpt showing up there too? I see on the demo site it at least says who the article is by and what date…but i don’t get either of those.

    Thanks,

    You need increase value of the memory_limit to 128 MB.
    Please ask your host to do this.

    Hello,

    You have author written in the footer, but it’s white in color and it’s invisible. Add this code in Global Custom CSS:

    .main-footer .blog-post-list li .media-body strong {
        color: black !important;
    }

    Unfortunately there is no option to show excerpts in posts widget.

    If you want to change border color for date icons use this css code:

    .main-footer-1 .blog-post-list li .date-event {
        border-color: #CDA85C !important;
    }

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Ah, bummer on the excerpt.

    For the date icon color I actually wanted the whole thing to be the mint green which is now my main color but for some reason it didn’t get picked up fully on the date icon. However if you preview the footer it does, but when you view the whole page it goes back to the gold that is default on the theme.

    Let me know how i can get it all mint green. thanks!

    Perfect! Thank you 🙂

    I believe I didn’t do anything different on the email sign up on the home page from the original theme i just changed the background but for some reason the button doesn’t line up. Do you know what is?
    As well as I don’t see the color change on the “sign up…” copy it shows up gray and this is the code i see:
    <hr class=”divider break” style=”float: left; position: relative; margin: 3px 0 12px 0; background: rgba(217,217,217,0.5);” />
    <p style=”clear: both; font-family: ‘Opensans’; font-style: italic;”>Sign up to get exclusive offers from our favorite brands and to be well up in the news.</p>

    I don’t see where it changes from black to gray… can you help me with that one too?

    The “sign up” copy might be gray on the demo site now when i look, but I would like it black.
    and then you see how the button is lined up on the screen shot

    Please clarify your request with more details. I see 2 sign up forms on the homepage and one can be called with “newsletter” link. Take a look at the attached screenshot in private content.

    To change color for the text and divider of the upper sign up form please add this code to the custom.css:

    .vc_custom_1442186247666 .divider {background:#333!important;}
     .vc_custom_1442186247666 .wpb_wrapper p{color:#333!important;}

    Not sure how I see the private content?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

    I’ve added this code in Global Custom CSS:

    .mc4wp-form input[type="email"] {
        width: 70%;
        margin-left: 0px !important;
    }
    .mc4wp-form input[type="submit"] {
        background-color: black !important;
        float: right;
        margin-top: -57px;
    }

    Please check the form now.
