1st time Royal user Issues / Questions - by LocalHub

1) I just installed the Royal theme on a new site and walked through the documentation to setup the base demo (wheels) website. I have the 2nd header type selected (also tried with the 5th). In the ‘Show revolution slider instead of breadcrumbs and page title’ ‘Wheels’ option is already chosen. But when I preview the page the slider is not showing up.

2) How can I change the social icon options at the bottom of the page? Where do I set the values for those so they navigate to the correct page?

3)Many of the images and links are showing up properly for a brand new setup. No map, no products for the demo site. Progress bar isn’t working. Award winning paralax section isn’t wortking. I was hoping this would work out of the box.

4) How do I change the logo in the footer?

5)On the shop page the logo image is a different size than the ‘home’ page. Is this controlled by the page or the header?

Hello,

Please give us full permissions to wp-admin panel to be able to view all settings and all sections of the Dashboard.
Also we can’t connect via FTP, you didn’t provide FTP Host. Please check the credentials.

Hello,

1. I’ve updated Revolution Slider to the latest version and slider is working now.

2. You need edit the file wp-content/themes/royal/framework/shortcodes.php (find the section “! Share This Product” on line 1918), to change links you need edit the code, for example for Twitter <a href="https://twitter.com/share?url='.$permalink.'&text='.$post_title.'" class="'.$tooltip_class.'" title="'.__('Twitter', ETHEME_DOMAIN).'" target="_blank"> and replace https://twitter.com/share?url='.$permalink.'&text='.$post_title.' with a link to your Twitter account.

3. I’ve edited theme-functions.php file. Please clear browser cache and check images now.

4. To change logo in the footer go to Static Block > edit block “Wheel”, use Visual Composer editor for modification.

5. As I see you’ve uploaded different logos in Pages > edit “Home” page > “Logo image for this page” (on the right side) and in Theme Options > Header > Logo image. If you want to have similar images then remove logo from Home page and it’ll be loaded from Theme Options.

I have one other issues I’ve come across:
6. When I scroll down and the “hover” menu appears, its duplicating the menu items.

Also, one more questions. I can’t seam to find the Static Block editor. Can you provide some more clarification?

Static Blocks section is present in wp-admin panel: http://storage5.static.itmages.com/i/15/0828/h_1440746178_5160121_59d5ef57b4.png
Concerning the menu, I’ve removed it in Appearance > Menus > Manage Locations tab > Main menu (right). Please check now.
