Hi there, your Rev Slider v5.0.3? is showing file size of 0 kb, there’s no Zip to download.

Also, I understand the new Rev Slider v5.0.3 or 5.0.2 has a brand new interface and that some of the appearance options from the older version is not available with the new one. Such as the Shadow Type, etc.

Once you re-upload the Zip, what is the best way for me to update the Rev Slider and NOT lose any of my previous settings? Let me know which files to overwrite via FTP.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

We’ve reuploaded the plugin archive. Please try to download it now.
To update it you need connect to your server via FTP, go to wp-content/plugins directory and overwrite “revslider” folder with the folder that you extracted from the archive.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

I just downloaded it, Thanks. I noticed with the updated Rev Slider version, it slightly changed the Texts Layers on my Home Page (using Cleopatra example).

And under Layout & Visual / Shadow Types, there seems to be more Shadow options but the main base shadow is no not as prominent, it’s very subtle. I like the option fro the previous where the base shadow was a bit thicker and more prominent. How can I adjust this? Thanks.

    Hello,

Please clarify the issue with Texts Layers.
You can change shadow display in Revolution Slider > edit a slider > Layout & Visual.

Text Layer alignment moves up vertically after the Rev. Slider update. It shows in the browser that the layers have changed, but in the Editor, it shows it’s perfectly aligned. Kinda odd.

I know about the Layout & Visual. But my question is with the new v.5.0.3, the Shadow options have changed. For example, Shadow Style #5, the base show thickness and height isn’t as dominant as from the previous Red. Slider version.

    Hello,

Try to set font values for layers in the slider editor http://storage4.static.itmages.com/i/15/0814/h_1439547512_5854343_55bf51a169.png and check it after that.

It’s actually the <hr class=’divider that gets moved. The X & Y alignment changes after the update. I took it out for Slide #1. But if you look at my other Slides #2, 3, etc, you’ll notice the divider line gets too close to the Texts, even though when viewed in the Edit Screen Mode, they look perfectly aligned. But when viewed on the browser, it doesn’t look the same.

I’m only testing this on the duplicate test site, I haven’t updated my Client’s live site yet until I’m able to resolve this. Thanks.

There must be a bug or something because I just updated my WP to v4.3 and the Homepage Rev. Slider has disappear. It happened to my other Theme as well and I can’t figure out why.

I’ve updated Rev. Slider to 5.0.4 and have the latest Royal v2.1

My WP login in in Private Box so you can take a look. Thanks.

    Hello,

There is a conflict between new WordPress version and Revolution Slider:
    http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/7846/revolution-slider-invisible-after-update-to-slider-5-x-version-and-wordpress-4-3
The plugin authors released a new version 5.0.4.1 where this bug should be fixed. Soon we’ll upload the plugin archive to this page https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ . You can monitor for it.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

Well I just clicked on “Slideshow-Auto” under Slider Settings per the forum’s advice. But the slider still does not exist other than a grey box.

So I assume I’ll have to wait until the update plugin is released?

And I did the same adjustment on my other Theme, it displays the Home Rev. Slider again, but then I lost my Custom CSS in the Slider Custom CSS box and my slider pixels also gone.

Hi there, I just updated Rev. Slider to v5.0.4.1

All my settings look correct (Standard Slider/Full Screen), etc. but for some reason the Slider is not Responsive on mobile device.

I checked the Behavior and all Responsive tabs are set to On.

Hi, did you get a chance to review my last comment? I just checked the site on mobile phone and the Rev. Slider an all its contents are not in Responsive Mode. Let me know soon. Thanks.

Oh just saw your last reply as I was typing. I’ve placed the layers and with the settings as how it’s instructed from the documentation of the Rev. Slider. They’re all set to Auto Responsive. But when viewed on Mobile Screen, it’s not the case and the text are off screen.

I’ve provided you with my WP Login so you can go in and see what I’m talking about. Thanks.

All good with adjusting the Rev. Slider to responsive mode now, Thanks.

Also please note, I just updated my Client’s site from 2.0 to 2.1 and ALL of the Theme Options were automatically set to OFF after the update. And the header logo and favicon also disappeared as I had to re-upload them, etc.

How come this happen during the v2.1 version and not the previous? I never had a problem with the previous update before until this time around. Is WP 4.3 causing it also?

    Let me know. Thanks.

    Hello,

Did you click “Save changes” in Theme Options after you updated the theme?
Did you just overwrite theme files or remove old theme folder?

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

I clicked on Save Changes in Theme Options after I overwrite the “royal” folder and I had deleted the “woo commerce” subfolder first as well. Been doing update the exact same way as before. But for some reason, this time around updating to your 2.1, most of my previous settings were changes, even the theme color, etc. and I had to manually change it back. Very time consuming.

I don’t know what’s going on with my support ticket for this topic, but I can’t see your reply unless I type a reply in return to see the latest comments. Very strange.

    Hello,

Unfortunately we don’t know what might be the reason. We didn’t get such problems on our test site and other clients didn’t complain about it. Perhaps some changes were made on your server or something.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.
