I have the top bar and search form both enabled in my header, but the search functionality isn’t working. When you rollover the magnifier icon, nothing happens.

Furthermore, after I proceeded with the last theme update, several older pages in my blog section showed up with an error message that wasn’t previously there.

Warning: file_exists(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/.) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/techorchok:/usr/lib/php:/usr/php4/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/usr/local/php4/lib/php:/tmp) in /home/techorchok/public_html/wp-content/themes/legenda/framework/images.php on line 134

    Please help!!

    Hello,

Please update the theme to the latest version.
Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .

Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Eva,

I’ve gone ahead and updated the theme and all plugins and are still experiencing both issues. Can you tell me how to proceed?

    Thanks!

    Eva,

I’ve tried both of those updates, and neither seemed to rid those pages of the open_basedir errors. Any other ideas? More importantly, any ideas on how I can get the search functionality to work on the icon in the header? Currently, it’s not even hot if you scroll over it.

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hello,

Unfortunately we can’t affect on your server configuration to solve open_basedir issue.
Regarding the search button I can propose you the following variant of search form as it’s showing on your site now. Please let us know if that is accepted solution.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.
