Site is Down After Updating to Version 2.7 – Please Help!

    Hi I just updated my site to version 2.7 exactly per the “Theme Upgrade” instructions provided in your latest download, however, my site now is no longer working. You can see it here:

    Fortunately, the WordPress dashboard is still working. Right now it is set to the Legenda Child theme. I tried changing it to the regular Legenda theme to see if it would make any difference, but it didn’t help very much. The logo and navigation menu returned but the rest of the page was blank with the following error message:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function vc_column_offset_class_merge() in /homepages/39/d330084047/htdocs/projects/anovelidea2/wp-content/themes/legenda/framework/vc.php on line 1172

    I changed it back to the Child Theme so that’s what you’re seeing now.

    If you could please advise as soon as humanly possible, I’d really appreciate it. I have a meeting with this client tomorrow and am unable to work on the site but would really at least have the site working again!

    I also have this message on the top of the screen:

    Please update also Visual Composer plugin. Current version is 4.5.1.

    Ok, I uploaded and replaced the files but will instead delete the current files and reupload.

    Could the Child Theme be causing these issues?

    Hi, I deleted the js_composer folder on my website then I FTP’d the latest version of the plug-in. However, when I clicked to install it, the install failed with the error message “This plugin does not have a valid header”. Not sure what to do now.

    If you could have a look, I’ve provided my login details in the private message.

    Hi,

    The website appears to be working now. I deleted the js_composer folder on web space and then installed the plug-in through the dashboard’s notifications instead, which worked amazingly, and it got the latest version 🙂

    There are some adjustments to make here and there but most of the site is pretty in tact. I’ll open a ticket if I have any other troubles.
