Hi, please see the screenshot below:

Can the search box on top of each page only search on product name? Can I change the settings so that keywords like SKU or other phases which are not on the product name can be searched as well? Or any plugin I can install to allow a broader search to locate a product if the customer doesn’t know the exact product name?

    Many thanks.

    Hello,

You can remove the code <input type="hidden" name="post_type" value="product" /> in the file wp-content/themes/legenda/woosearchform.php on line 12 and you’ll have default search form.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

Hi Eva, where do I go to get to the file wp-content/themes/legenda/woosearchform.php? How do I get access to this file?

Also, once I remove the code, the effect will be permanent, correct? If I make a mistake, will I mess up anything at all?

When the above code is removed, people can insert any keyword as long as it is mentioned somewhere on my site, correct? The search is restrained within my site, correct?

    Many thanks.

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello,

You need connect to your site via FTP and the file woosearchform.php is located in the directory wp-content/themes/legenda. To keep changes safe after theme update you need create child theme http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes and copy that file in child theme folder and edit it there. The search results will be shown with any keyword.

    Thank you.
