How to insert videos on portfolio - by La mantis

Hello!

I’m trying to insert videos on portfolio content but it seems that doesn’t works correctly. I’ve tryed by embed video widget and by normal WP system (copying youtube url directly to the content), but the video doesn’t appears on the public page…

Is it a royal theme bug? how can I solve it?

Hello,

This element works only in custom pages, not on pages like shop, blog, portfolio or other default pages of our theme.
As a variant you can create some page then add Video player element via Visual Composer plugin and below add shortcode [portfolio]. See screenshot: http://prntscr.com/6rxssx

Hi, thanks for your reply. I would like to insert a video inside content of portfolio ITEM, not on portfolio main page.

When I insert an iframe youtube code, it automatically disapears when saving portfolio item,

You can see it on first portfolio item on admin.

Try to use Video player via Visual Composer plugin (edit portfolio->backend editor->add element). Please see screenshot: http://prntscr.com/6ryk0f

What version of the Royal theme you’re using?
Also check your plugins. Must be the latest versions.
You can download the latest plugins versions at this link https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ ,
enter your purchase code of the theme to get the plugins.

Try to disable third-party plugins, maybe one of them caused issue.

I’ve disabled all third-part plugins and same result… widget embed video doesn’t work..

Hello

I found no problem to add Video with “Video Player” Visual Composer element. The url link was copied from share dropdown button from youtube.com. You may read here about you tube API and add such features as autoplay and autohide.
