Hey there, I’ve made some script edits to the footer.php and shortcodes.php

Please let me know exactly how to include this into the Child Theme so that it won’t be effected during a Theme Update.

I see a function.php & style.css in my Royal-child folder. Do I just upload the entire footer.php and shortcodes.php files into the Royal-Child folder? Or do I paste specific line of codes into the function.php of the Child Theme?

    Thanks.

I did just that but I’m not seeing the changes on the live site. I uploaded the footer.php into the root of the Royal-child folder and then I created an empty folder named “framework” inside the Royal-Child folder and I uploaded the shortcodes.php into there. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
