THEME DEMO WILL NOT SELECT DEMO I TRY TO INSTALL & revolution slider error

Hi, I have installed the Theme into my FTP & Watched your video tutorial side by side. I have now imported the Demo Content while watching your video. All of this was successfully achieved.

Now i can see many Demo Sites which you simply click install on and they change your theme. When i click install it does not do anything at all just loads then refreshes and same theme “Basic” is still there.

Also on the basic theme for Royal the message Revolution Slider Error: Slider with alias home2 not found.

Hi underground studios, I wanna share you something related to your problem.

Have you tried following the Documentation? can be found here only under OUR SUPPORT>Documentation.

This is STEP 6 saying:
“6. Demo Data Installation
The next step gives the opportunity to install automatically demo content.

Firstly go to Theme Options > Import/Export, press Install base demo content button to install products, categories, posts, projects, some pages. Only after that you’ll be able to install other theme versions correctly!”

Hi I have provided the information for Log in and will now give you FTP. Yes i have installd Base content and it installed but does not let me install demo chosen

Really need to get stated on this website, needs to be complete by tonight lol :(, Do you know how long? i have followed video imported the data installed it selected demo i want to choose but it does not work. All Plugins installed and the revolution slider error appears on the basic theme of Royal

Hello,

Very likely that you use low php version on a server.
Please ask your host to increase php version to at least 5.3 and check allow_url_fopen option, must be enabled. Ask your hosting for that.
Also you need to increase the values of upload_max_filesize and post_max_size.

Did you manage to log in and check this out? I will contact my Hosting ASAP and get this changed. What about the resolution Slider Issue for the Theme that is loading/?

First you need to check your PHP version and all the values which I wrote above. Very likely that your hosting blocked the ability to check the version of PHP.

Version is 5.3 already.

allow_url_fopen is disabled for security, libcurl is recommended instead of this. Can this be used?

Is there no other way to use a demo theme or demo content? allow_url_fopen” we cant enable due to security but we can use libcurl would that work

Thanks for fixing slider issue, my hosting has told me to forward this to you

As per the documentation all of this meets their requirements..

– To use Royal, you must be running WordPress 3.9 or higher and PHP 5.3 or higher;
– To avoid problems with demo content import you must be sure that file_get_contents() function is enabled in the server configuration;
– Recommended memory_limit is no less than 64M;

– Upload_max_filesize should be no less than 20M

Why can we not upload Demo Content, everything meets your requirments as requested on the documentation and this is why we purchased.

Hello,

As I see demo data is imported (blog posts, portfolio projects, Blog, Contact, Portfolio pages).
Are you unable to install a template variant in Theme Options > Import/Export?

Hi

I want to select one of your Templates like “Simple Page” One Page or Landing page when i click install nothing happens. I have provided FTP info and log in information please check. I have tried to change the “Theme” to somthing like your “Retail” or another store style you have loads in the “Theme Options section” but when i click install nothing happens

Hi

I would like to select one of the Demo COntent Themes like the landing page or simple page you have many choices but when i click the theme and install it just refreshes the page and scrollls to the top But in the video it does the same but then says succesfully installed.

Please can you log into my account it has been quite a long time now and after me beeing told it was becuase of the URL Open situation your documentation stated the requirements which my hosting company confirmed i have.

Please can you log in using the information.

I really apreciate the time and your help but think it will be faster for you to log in and view the issue when you try it. I have explained to you what my hosting company have said i have and done have and also have told me i 100% meet your document requirements

Hi I have done the following

You need import .xml file in Tools > Import > WordPress in your wp-admin panel.
Also import slider with .zip file in Revolution slider > Import Slider button.

Then it says

Assign post to user i selected Acesadmin then submit and tick the box for download it then said

ALL DONE. HAVE FUN

when i go to pages or view theme it is exactly the same as before.

IO would like to use the other way as well which uploads them all and i can see them then select please get this working this is why i purchased your theme so i can easily change
