Custom Tabs & Visual Composer Problems

    I’m having some issues ever since I installed the latest theme update 1.7. The first problem is I can’t use the latest Visual Composer. It doesn’t allow me to make edits to my product pages. When I hit edit on a text item for some reason visual composer thinks the text box is blank and just shows the lorem ipsum text. This forced me to revert back to the previous visual composer. The next problem is my custom tabs and review tabs are not working. When you click them they just show the item description. These were working before the update. The only other plugin I have installed besides the ones that came with the theme is Contact Form 7. Not sure what is causing the conflicts. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    Hello,

    First please update Visual Composer and Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer plugin to the latest version. Then navigate to Settings->Visual Composer and select all Content Types.
    If issue will be persist then contact us again, but please don’t revert back to the previous visual composer.

    Thanks for the quick reply. I will try your suggestion. Also just noticed I’m getting this error on the store pages. Do you know what might be causing it?

    Warning: getimagesize(/usr/local/apache/htdocsFitment): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/atvexhaust/public_html/wp-content/themes/royal/framework/images.php on line 123

    I tried your suggestion and it still didn’t work so I had to revert back to the older plugins. The issue with getimagesize seems to be fixed now after resetting the theme.

    Did a backup and ready for a reupdate.

    After digging around I figured out the issue. I had some code within a static block that was causing conflicts with Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer. All is good now. Thanks for the help.
