Hello,
We are investigating slow responses on a WooCommerce store using XStore, Elementor, PHP 8.3 and LiteSpeed Cache on Zenbox hosting.
Pages served from cache load quickly, but the store owner reported approximately 4.5–6 seconds to the first response on uncached or dynamic pages, including the cart and checkout. We have not independently verified all of those original measurements under the same conditions.
On a staging copy, our logged-out visitor tests showed document TTFB of approximately:
– Cart: 2.13–3.10 seconds.
– Checkout: 2.53–3.11 seconds.
During one successful AJAX add-to-cart test, we observed two sequential requests. The first returned the success notice and cart fragments, with a TTFB of approximately 1.20 seconds. It was followed by etheme_elementor_menu_cart_fragments, with a TTFB of approximately 0.98 seconds. Both returned HTTP 200.
Tests with fewer active plugins have not identified a single plugin whose removal consistently resolves the delays. Our hosting provider reported no CPU or RAM limit exceedances during their review.
Has anyone investigated similar behaviour with XStore and Elementor? In particular:
– Is the additional mini-cart fragment request expected when the add-to-cart response already includes cart fragments?
– Which settings or potentially overlapping cart widgets would you check first?
– What would be the most useful next diagnostic step?
We have not established the cause and are not assuming that XStore is responsible. More detailed measurements and configuration information have been provided privately to the support team.
Thank you for any suggestions.
