    Hello XStore Support Team,

I need help troubleshooting my shop page because I am experiencing several issues with WooCommerce sorting and pagination on my website: https://kplayground.sk/.

My shop uses the XStore theme and WooCommerce. The shop page initially looks correct, but changing the product sorting causes major problems with product loading. Attempts to fix the issue through the theme settings have also caused the entire product grid layout to break. Please see images attached.

    1. Infinite scroll works initially, but breaks when changing the sorting

    I currently use XStore’s built-in infinite scroll.

When I first open the shop page, the products load correctly and the layout looks normal.

However, when I change the sorting option, such as sorting by average rating or newest products, only a small number of products load. The page then displays “No more products found”, even though I expect more products to be available.

If I change the sorting back to the original sorting option, the page sometimes continues loading indefinitely instead of behaving normally.

When I reload the page to reset everything, I end up on an error page instead of returning to the shop.

This makes the shop page unreliable and prevents customers from browsing products properly.

    2. Changing the pagination settings breaks the entire product layout

I tried troubleshooting the issue through:

XStore → Theme Options → WooCommerce → Shop → Paging type

I tested different options, including Infinite Scrolling and Ajax Product Pagination, for both desktop and mobile.

However, changing these settings caused the product grid to become completely off and crowded with multiple products. The problem occurred with other pagination options as well.

    3. I also tried the separate WooCommerce Infinite Scroll and Ajax Pagination plugin

I found XStore’s official documentation for the bundled WooCommerce Infinite Scroll and Ajax Pagination plugin and configured it according to the documentation for XStore versions 4.19 and newer.

    I configured the following selectors:

    Content Selector: .products-loop

    Item Selector: .product

    Navigation Selector: .after-shop-loop .woocommerce-pagination

    Next Selector: .after-shop-loop .woocommerce-pagination a.next

I also configured the recommended JavaScript under Advanced Settings → On Pagination End.

However, this did not resolve the problem. The shop still behaves as though the XStores own infinite-scroll implementation is controlling the product loading.

How do I fix all this?

    Thanks!

    Dear @KPlayground SK,

As you are utilizing our Archive products template builder (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/xstore-builders/xstore-products-archive-builder-with-elementor/), please ensure that you configure the pagination, AJAX loading, or infinite scroll within your “Archive products” widget (https://gyazo.com/d3e9a8767edcf15069b59f5a89228818) in the respective template. Additionally, to guarantee proper functionality, set the Pagination type in your Theme Options under WooCommerce to ‘Default’ to resolve any compatibility issues with the builder template settings. There is no need to use an additional plugin for these purposes, as our built-in functionality adequately meets all requirements. If you continue to experience issues with product loading or sorting, please consider enabling the ‘Disable Pjax pagination’ option (https://gyazo.com/4ab5d598094cc3d5e129cc77f34fa0bd) in your Theme Options under the Speed Optimizations section.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson
