    Hi XStore Support Team,
I need help setting up and editing my Single Post pages with Elementor.
    – I created a layout in XStore → Single Post Builder.
    – I used the Insert option and selected a Single Post template.
    – The template already includes the Post Content widget.
    – I saved the Single Post Builder template successfully.
    – My requirement is to keep the main layout/design standard for all blog posts, while having different content for each individual post.
    – After setting the Single Post template, I go to WordPress → Posts → Individual Post → Edit with Elementor to edit the content of each post.
    – But when I click Edit with Elementor, Elementor does not load and shows:
“The preview could not be loaded – Error 500.”
Sometimes I also see multiple errors when trying to preview the post.
Could you please advise the correct XStore method to:
    1. Create one standard Single Post layout.
    2. Use the Post Content widget as the dynamic content area.
    3. Edit/design each individual post with Elementor while keeping the main Single Post layout unchanged.
    4. Fix the Error 500 / preview could not be loaded issue.
Please let me know if any XStore setting or specific widget/setup is required.
    Thank you.

    Hello @Taris,

Could you please check now? We have reconfigured the Elementor Elements module settings on your website (https://elementor.com/help/element-manager/).

    Hi Jack,

I recently received an email on my registered purchase email address regarding a new XStore theme update, including a download link. However, the update is not showing in my WordPress dashboard.

Could you please clarify the following?

Will future XStore theme updates appear automatically under WordPress Dashboard → Updates / Appearance → Themes?

If the update is not showing in the dashboard, should I manually download the latest theme ZIP file from the official XStore website and upload it to WordPress?

If I manually upload the updated theme, will it automatically replace the existing theme files without affecting my current Minimal Tech demo layout, Elementor designs, theme settings, colors, fonts, product pages, and website content?

Is there any additional configuration or license activation required to enable automatic updates?

Could you please share the recommended step-by-step procedure for safely updating XStore without losing any existing customizations?

My website is currently under development, so I want to ensure that future theme updates do not affect my existing work.

    Thank you for your support.

    Hello @Taris,

Nothing remains static; updates for WordPress and plugins are continually being released, and they are incorporated into our template. We consistently update our theme with new features and resolve outstanding issues. We recommend using the latest version of the theme to prevent any problems related to incorrect template functioning. Please note that whenever the theme is updated, files in your existing theme (not child-theme but in parent one – XStore) will be overwritten. If you have made any modifications to the updated files, those changes will be lost. Therefore, if you plan to customize your template, it is advisable to use the Child Theme or the Custom CSS area in Theme Options if your changes only affect CSS styles. Theme updates only impact the theme files and do not affect the database. To avoid any difficulties, please back up the theme files and database before any update.

The update process is thoroughly described in our documentation: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-installation/theme-update/

Please note that the latest version for updating from the dashboard may be cached for 3-5 days, as refreshing such information constantly would slow down the dashboard loading time. Therefore, WordPress caches this information for a period and makes update requests once every few days.

    Best Regards,
    Jack Richardson
