    Hi there,

I am facing two issues on my WooCommerce store using the XStore theme regarding product display and backorders:

    1. Custom Backorder Message Display
Setup: I have set a product quantity to 0 with “Allow, but notify customer” enabled, because this item is available on backorder with a standard lead time of 30 days.

Issue: The default backorder message on the single product page is vague. I need to clearly notify customers on the front-end that if they order this item, it is currently out of stock and delivery will take approximately 30 days.

Request: Could you advice on the best XStore/WooCommerce method to customize this backorder notification text directly on the product page so it is clearly visible to guest users before they add it to the cart?

    2. Product Description Discrepancy
Issue: The description displayed on the front-end (guest view) does not match what is written in the WordPress backend.

    Details:

Admin Backend: The editor contains the full detailed text (“Nilfisk UNIKAL PLUS SV1 – 25 L, alkaline cleaner…”).

Front-end View: The “Description” tab only shows a single sentence (“Universal cold cleaning agent.”).

Clearing cache does not fix the issue.

I have attached screenshots of my inventory configuration, backend product description, and front-end display.

    Thank you for your help!

    Best regards,
    Yasmina

    Hello @Jasmina,

We have reviewed your product description, and it appears to be correct: (https://gyazo.com/b78638ea3b64e8691738f76cc23dd86d). If you wish to display a short description on your single product page, please edit your Single Product template and include the appropriate element within the content: (https://gyazo.com/4b9a4d800cac0ced2aa52a8895c5044b).

Regarding the stock status, we have temporarily added the Product Stock widget to your single product template: (https://gyazo.com/1a56219c8f2f553596dc62461bc94684). However, due to caching, it may be necessary to clear the cache to view our changes. If you intended something else, please provide clarification with screenshots and URLs (you can attach these in private content) so we can replicate the issue on our end.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson
