I am trying to keep the Shop Filter bar permanently open/persistent on my shop page, so that it is always visible to users without needing to click the filter icon.

I have already enabled the “Open state” option in the theme settings, but the filter bar still acts as an off-canvas/collapsible menu and does not remain fixed in the shop sidebar area.

Could you please advise on how to make the filter sidebar permanently visible on the shop page? Am I missing a specific layout setting, or is there a conflict causing this behavior?

    Looking forward to your guidance.

    Hello @John,

You may try the following solution: please add the “Apply All Filters” widget to the top of your sidebar area (https://gyazo.com/f3d0297991f5144a19e9a639ae53ce94). This will achieve the desired result, as the sidebar will remain open while you select filters and will only close once you click the “Apply Filters” button.

Additionally, you can review a similar topic with possible solutions here: https://www.8theme.com/topic/off-canavas-sidebar-should-remain-open-when-clicking-shop-filters/

Thank you for the suggestion. However, I do not want the filters to be off-canvas or to open/close at all. I would like the filters to be permanently displayed as a static left sidebar on the shop page, just like a traditional e-shop layout. How can I disable the ‘off-canvas’ functionality and force the filter sidebar to be always visible and static?

    Hello @John,

As you are using our XStore Archive Products Builder based on Elementor, please open the Archive Products template in the XStore Builders panel. From there, you can restructure the shop layout and modify the Sidebar widget in your shop layout by setting empty values: https://gyazo.com/378a28ac1e1bebdcbe7a7a6894dc2937.

Additionally, you can import pre-built shop templates (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/xstore-builders/xstore-products-archive-builder-with-elementor/) using our XStudio feature (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/xstore-features/xstudio-feature-of-xstore-wordpress-theme/).
